Sinta’s Sick Humor

As soon as I read Sinta’s temperature on the thermometer this afternoon, I felt very alarmed.

38.2° C

He has been very sick for about 3 days now, which is very unlikely of him given that as far as I can remember, the worst thing he had was a case of colds which lasted only for a couple of hours. His fever has been seriously high since Tuesday and up to now, he still has this weird freaky impression of exhaustion. My Sinta looks so sick… :-(

So I had been sick almost all my life too and I may already have had an idea (of some sort) on how to assess some patients (as I was one a couple of times!) I visited him today and was closely monitoring (or maybe not close enough) his temperature and condition. The second I found out he was still having his fever, I had to ask him things…

Me: Taas ra gihapon!!! Unsa pa man lain nimu gibati ga? Labad imu ulo? Sakit iihi? Basin dengue na?! BUYAG PALAYO! Unsa man imu na feel?

And guess what he answered?

Sinta: HAPPY MAN KO!

Bwahahah! Funny guy.
